About The Role:

As we scale our FMCG retail operations and digital ecosystem, we need a Senior Associate – ERP Business System Consultant who can ensure our core business systems run reliably while enabling both our physical and digital products to scale.
Our ERP system went live on January 1st, 2026, and now supports our entire FMCG and parenting app business across finance, inventory, procurement, and sales. Right now, all system knowledge sits with external vendors, creating unsustainable risk and cost. We need someone to own NetSuite internally—ensuring operational stability, building institutional knowledge, and enabling our business teams to move fast without vendor dependency.
What You'll Own
- Daily NetSuite Operations & Support Serve as the internal expert and first point of contact for all NetSuite issues across Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Inventory modules. Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve 80%+ of incidents without vendor escalation. Maintain service level targets: under 30 minutes for initial response, under 1 business day for high-severity resolution.
- System Configuration, Maintenance & Security Manage routine configurations, workflow adjustments, custom forms, saved searches, and user access controls. Implement monthly security reviews and ensure audit compliance. Balance business agility with system stability through disciplined change management—making fast updates while maintaining proper documentation and testing.
- Integration Stability & Cross-System Data Flow Monitor and troubleshoot data synchronization between NetSuite, Shopify, middleware, and mobile applications. Work with the Tech team (Golang, Laravel, Flutter engineers) to resolve API issues, with clear ownership: you own NetSuite-side configurations and integration logic; they own application-side API consumption.
- Knowledge Transfer & Documentation Extract and document all vendor-held knowledge about our NetSuite setup—customizations, workflows, configurations, integrations, and business processes. Create runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and training materials. Conduct training sessions for business users and build institutional capability so the company owns its ERP knowledge.
- Business Value Optimization Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve workflows, and create custom reports and dashboards that address recurring business needs. Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales leaders to understand their pain points and deliver NetSuite solutions that improve decision-making speed and accuracy.
What Success Looks Like (6-12 Months)
- Operational reliability: Achieve 95% adherence to response time SLAs and 90% of critical issues resolved within 1 business day; Finance closes complete without ERP delays for 6 consecutive months
- Knowledge internalization: Reduce external vendor engagement by 60% for routine support; document 100% of current configurations, customizations, and integrations with complete runbooks
- Business impact delivery: Implement 8+ process optimizations or automations; create 12+ custom reports/dashboards; achieve 90% user satisfaction rating on NetSuite support quality

- You've owned NetSuite in a live production environment—not just implemented it, but supported users daily, troubleshot real incidents, and maintained the system post-go-live
- You learn by doing and document as you go—you can absorb knowledge from vendors, manuals, and experimentation, then translate it into clear guides others can follow
- You balance speed with stability—you know when to move fast on a configuration change and when to slow down for proper testing; you don't let perfect process block business needs, but you also don't create technical debt carelessly
- You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks—when an integration breaks at month-end, you stay until it's fixed; when a business user struggles, you find the root cause, not just a workaround
- You communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders—you can explain technical concepts to Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales teams in language they understand; you proactively set expectations and provide status updates without being asked
- You've worked in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments—you're comfortable being the solo expert, making decisions with incomplete information, and building infrastructure from scratch
How We Work
We're a fast-moving FMCG and parenting company operating multiple product verticals (app, eCommerce, nutrition, skincare, books). The Tech team runs lean - 10+ engineers focused on Golang, Laravel, Flutter, and AWS/Kubernetes, with zero NetSuite experience. You'll be the first dedicated ERP specialist, reporting to an Engineering Manager who values extreme ownership, precision, and continuous learning but doesn't have NetSuite technical expertise.
This means high autonomy in your domain, direct collaboration with business leaders, and responsibility for building our ERP capability from the ground up. You'll have support for learning and vendor engagement when needed, but success requires self-direction and strong judgment. The pace is fast, the stakes are real (our entire operations depend on NetSuite), and the impact is immediate.
Seniority & Scope
This is a senior individual contributor role with high autonomy and decision-making authority within the NetSuite domain. You will not have direct reports initially, but you will be the internal expert and primary owner of our ERP system. You'll work cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and the core Tech team. As the company scales, there may be opportunity to build a small ERP team or expand into other enterprise systems, but the immediate need is establishing stable, independent NetSuite operations.
